360 Degree Assessment and Appraisal Feedback360 assessments provide a complete view of a candidate's skills and competency through the combined feedback of their own self assessment plus other suitable feedback providers or 'raters'. These raters can consist of any combination of their line manager, peers, direct reports and even external associates such as clients or suppliers perhaps. Each participant in the 360 degree appraisal of a candidate completes their own separate copy of the same questionnaire, which then requires the collation of all the responses into one report for each candidate. In large organisations, this can amount to a great deal of data processing. If for example 100 managers are assessed, each with 6 or so raters, this results in 600 responses!
